Budget Line Breakdown & Purpose

Land Acquisition

  • Why: Earth is the foundation of freedom. At ~0.44 acres/person for vegetables aloneWikipedia+11permaculturism.com+11Worldbuilding Stack Exchange+11Wikipedia, we aim for full sustainability. 100–200 acres supports crop rotation, pasture, housing, water, and expansion.

  • Purchasing Strategy: Founder's retirement funds will cover this upfront—no loans, no debt. We negotiate quietly and secure acreage out of flood zones with access to fishing streams.

Basic Provisions (Year 1)

  • Why: We’re restoring, not starving. Bulk staples (rice, beans, protein packs) give immediate nourishment as food systems ramp up.

  • Buying Strategy: Wholesale suppliers, donated surplus programs, and long-term contacts for cheap bulk buys.

Shelter & Infrastructure

  • Why: Permanent housing breaks the cycle of street trauma. Tiny homes and communal buildings create community-based healing.

  • Materials: Locally sourced wood, reclaimed brick, volunteer labor from vets—keep it durable, low-cost, and high-impact.

Water & Filtration Systems

  • Why: Safe water saves lives. Gravity-fed systems—Berkey or Sawyer filters—plus large barrels and rain capture systems are reliable and zero-electric.

  • Procurement: Buy filters in bulk and collect reclaimed barrels to lower cost.

Food Production Setup

  • Why: Gardens heal both stomach and soul. Raised beds and drip irrigation maximize planting efficiency and yield.

  • Method: Intercropping and permaculture principles to double crop output on small spaceDiscount Lots.

Fishing & Hunting Gear

  • Why: Protein matters. Fishing reduces grocery costs and teaches patience, trust, and survival.

  • Acquisition: Secondhand gear, donated supplies, and simple traps.

Off-Grid Power Systems

  • Why: Power autonomy means no utility bills and more ministry time. We can refrigerate, light, build, and document off-grid.

  • Implementation: Solar kits, battery banks, and DIY wiring. Prioritize essentials—lights, comms, tools.

Medical & Detox Supplies

  • Why: Healing bodies and hearts. Detox kits + basic meds prevent crises. Bibles treat the soul.

  • Buying Approach: Partner with Christian clinics for donations; fundraise for improved pharmaceuticals.

Tools, Equipment & Camp Gear

  • Why: Restoration takes real work. Hands need tools. Tents give shelter until homes are built.

  • Strategy: Durable, multipurpose tools; buy cheap bulk or accept blessed regifts.

Transportation

  • Why: Necessary to rescue, resupply, and respond to crisis.

  • Approach: Buy used reliable vehicles from private sellers.

Educational & Devotional Materials

  • Why: Transformation requires truth. Discipleship manuals and Bible kits build foundations.

  • Sourcing: Bible publishers and volunteers for discounted or free materials.

Contingency Fund (There will not be one)

  • Why: We trust God. We will not hold onto a single cent that can go to saving someone.
